“How My Faith Helps Me in Different Times: Voices of 6 Different Traditions”

The Center for Interfaith Projects in Fargo,  ND held an Interfaith Dialogue this past Sunday. The following sentiment was shared when asked for reflection regarding the interaction and outcome of the dialogue:

“There is no way I could do justice to the individual voices: Native American, Baha’i, Buddhist, Christian, Humanist, & Jewish. Each of us gave our particular take on how our faith helps us in difficult times. None of us read from a prepared script. It was a very moving and meaningful experience for both panelists and the audience.

Even in my case, I found myself putting my notes aside and speaking from the heart. I can only say I have a memory of the audience’s reaction to what I said–which was one of understanding and appreciation. This was the case with each speaker.”
